Thank you for your quick response to the poor workmanship on the contractors part.I hit that spot with my car the other day,I bottomed out so bad I was sure I tore out my undercarriage.I was only going 15mph as I had a green light.

At this point in time I don't think those vacant positions that are budgeted should be filled. Reorganize for other staff members to pick up some of those jobs. It's a time to really minimize staff. When I drive around I am appalled at the condition of our streets esp. Huron. If you want to attract people to NG, they need to see that the streets are maintained.

why does that one guy keep harassing Betty Gibson (she was the one who attended the meeting at Westview and complained about him). Good grief, Betty is a very elderly person. If the guy had any integrity he would have gotten out his pruners and cut off the little bit of bush. The 2 or 3 visits he made to harass her, could have been one clean-up visit and he could have then gone to the house at the corner of Huron and Niver and complained about the stumps they have left in their yard after cutting small trees or large bushes. Or he could have looked at the sign across from Betty and realize that it is not a 'for sale' sign but a sign advertising their mortgage business. Isn't that against NG rules?? Or he could have come to my neighbor's house and complained about the bushes that hang over the sidewalk. Of course, she is very elderly too- a perfect target for this guy!!

I really do not think most of our citizens realized just how far as a city we were overspending each year.If there ever was a time for us to look for bargains this is it.Many,many companies have seen a slow down in their revenues,and are willing to deal.I challenge our citizens to try the same tactic in their personnal dealings and watch the bargains you can get.Way to go council,you all are doing a tremendous job in keeping our city on track for fiscal responsibility!

Finally! Some constructive dialog leading to a start of fiscal responsibility. This change has been a long time coming and it has taken more than one or two City Council members and Staff to realize that the old status quo just wasnt going to work any more. Having been a resident of Northglenn since 1969 Ive seen people come and people go. Most who left deserved to go, a few should have stayed. There still remaines a small group, some who have been told their services were no longer needed or wanted, that continue to hamper what little progress has, or is being, made. Hopefully they will read the handwritting on the wall and permanently depart or cease their continued harrassment. To those whos hard work is showing progress, CONGRATULATIONS. Its a great start to a new beginning. Keep up the good work.

Mr Larson, again, what is your claim to fame? All I see is a disgruntled old man who would find something to be negative about if the Pope made you a Saint. Like I said before, if you cant be positive -zip it. Better yet put your money where your mouth is and run for office.
